Edcamps: Participant-driven Professional Development (K-12)

Presented by Rachel Marker & Joe Hagemeister
Ever had an inspiring hallway discussion with a colleague only to be cut short by the start of class or a meeting? Or maybe you’ve been hearing about a new tech tool or classroom activity that sounds intriguing, but you’re not sure where to start? In this session, we will explore the “unconference” edcamp model for professional learning and growth. The edcamp philosophy can be applied to day-long PD events, as well as to staff meetings and in-service/PIR days. Join us to learn about this unique approach to personalized, teacher-driven learning!
