Finding your seat at the table (K-12) ​

For those of us who wish to serve as teacher leaders alongside our regular teaching lives, it can sometimes be hard to find our seat at the leadership table. In this conversational breakout session we will talk about opportunities and options in the leadership world and making choices that help us make change.

Anna Baldwin has been teaching high school English for 19 years on the Flathead Reservation in Western Montana. She is currently also a part-time grants manager for the Arlee School District along with teaching wonderful sophomores. In 2016-2017 she served as a Teaching Ambassador Fellow for the US Department of Education; in 2015-2016 she was a National Teaching Fellow with the Hope Street Group; and in 2014 she was the Montana Teacher of the Year. She is mom to Gail (15) and Austin (13) and wife of Jerry, a ceramic artist; they live in Arlee.
